The Shinemate RUBBER EDGED 150mm – 6″ Backing Plate is constructed of long-lasting SOFT urethane. Moulded, one-piece construction provides durable performance.

This 150mm Shinemate W68 Polisher Backing Plate fits all DA polishers with a 5/16 inch diameter shaft. The backing plate is perfectly centred when used with Meguiars 7 Inch Soft Buff 2.0 Pads. Velcro® brand hook and loop fasteners allow quick and easy pad changes and a secure hold during operation. This backing plate features a precisely tuned outer edge for ideal pad contouring over flat and curved surfaces. You’ll never miss a spot as you apply polishes and waxes with this flexible, bevelled edge backing plate.

The sofy rubber edged and recessed velcro backing on these plates not only is the most flexible in it’s class but help protect the delicate edges and velcro backing on pads.
